Some of the world’s most distinctive stones do not come from India and for projects where the specification calls for something particular from Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Portugal or Vietnam the sourcing has to be handled by someone who genuinely knows those markets rather than someone working off a catalogue.

Green World Contrakts has spent years building direct relationships with quarry owners and processing facilities across these regions. That access means we can offer material that many suppliers in India cannot and more importantly we can be straight about what is actually available rather than substituting and calling it equivalent.

How we manage international sourcing for a project:

• Material identified from the architect or designer’s brief not from what happens to be in stock
• Samples arranged and approved before any order is placed
• Quality checks conducted before shipment leaves the country of origin
• Logistics managed through to delivery on site in India
• Slabs, tiles and cut to size formats all within scope

Where grain and colour consistency matter across a large installation we source from the same quarry block run wherever possible. Where a specification may be difficult to fulfill at the volume required we say so early rather than letting it surface as a problem mid project.
